If you are interested in off-roading with your ATV, you will find plenty of options, but those who have an off-road-ready truck or SUV will also have dozens of options. The best will have onsite camping facilities, offer trails for all skill levels, and allow any type of vehicle. If you just can’t seem to choose where to go, consider one of these popular locations.

Big Maples Farm

Take your off-roading SUV or truck to Oxford to enjoy the terrain at Big Maples Farm. As expected, there are terrains for levels of skill, including short and steep hill climbs, creek crossings, mud bogs, and miles of wooded trails. There is a designated area for primitive camping, and you can bring your fishing poles to take advantage of the stocked fishing ponds when you want to relax after a tough off-road jaunt.

Heiney Farm

Heiney Farm is also open to all types of off-roading vehicles, including SUVs, Jeeps, trucks, ATVs, and motorcycles. Locals simply refer to it as “The Farm,” and the private property is perfect for group riding. If you plan to go, you will need to have at least five vehicles to take advantage of the property and make advance arrangements, but it is well worth it since you will get the trails to yourselves. There is around 160 acres total, including narrow ravines, mud pits, steep hill climbs, 4×4 trails, and a large open field for parking and primitive camping.

Powerline Park

This privately owned park is right outside St. Clairsville and has around 1,000 acres for off-road enthusiasts to enjoy on their vehicles. You will find trails and obstacles for novices to experienced enthusiasts, with hill climbs, mud bogs, and more. Like most top off-roading locations in Ohio, this one has showers and free camping onsite. There are also occasional special events so you can join a huge crowd of off-road enthusiasts.

Southington Off Road Park

This off-road park is in Garrettsville and covers 1,500 acres of land, meaning that there are plenty of trails to explore in your vehicle. Because of the size of the park, it offers trails and obstacles for all skill levels. This off-roading destination is also family-friendly and has a bathhouse to clean off in after your adventure, an area to buy food, and even a campground so you can hit the trails several days in a row.
